Quitting alcohol is extremely difficult in many ways. Mainly because you have to face yourself and start to deal with all the issues, emotions and feelings that you have  numbed for so long. Good books can motivate, inspire, educate and entertain you throughout your journey. It can be especially beneficial to read sobriety books. Another persons success story can be inspiring and can give you practical help for your own situation.

Here are a bunch of sobriety books and other helpful books that I have either read or have on my list for future reading:

  • Buy used books on eBay or Amazon, enter ‘Sobriety’ in the search area
  • Search online at Barnes and Noble or Borders in the personal development section
